The Rose Bowl Aquatics Center offers adaptive swim lessons for clients with disabilities. Water safety education and learning how to swim is important because it can reduce the risk of drowning. Learning how to swim is a life skill that everyone should possess regardless of any cognitive or physical limitation. Water can be a great equalizer for our adaptive community. It is our mission to make sure that every person is water safe. Quality swim lessons save lives.

Participating in swim lessons is especially important for the adaptive community. The skills, self-confidence, and empowerment gained while participating in swim lessons transfer into their daily lives and help them to become healthier, happier, and more productive students and individuals.

If a Semi-Private cancellation results in a 1:1 teacher-to-student ratio, the lesson will be considered a Private lesson and charged accordingly.

If you want to reschedule, you need to let us know at least 12 hours before your swim lesson.

Any notification of a cancellation received less than 12 hours before the swim lesson will count as a “Late Cancellation” and you will be charged.

“Late Cancellations” or “No-Shows” for Regional Center, School District, or Self Determination Program Clients will be the sole responsibility of the client.

A “Late Cancellation” or “No-Show” may be excused with a doctor’s note.

Verbal or text cancellations to your instructor will not be honored; a written notice via email, or a voicemail at (626-564-0330 ext. 419) are the only officially accepted forms of notice of cancellation.
