Physical Therapist

RBAC is currently accepting applications year round!

Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator of the Therapy Department, the Physical Therapist will provide out-patient medically relevant and evidenced-based therapeutic evaluations and treatments (aquatic and land-based) to patients of all ages with a variety of diagnoses.

The physical therapist will document and implement plans of care and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants.

General Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and treatments on children and adults with various medical conditions including
    orthopedic and neurological diagnoses
  • Instruct aquatic and land-based Wellness Classes for adults
  • Complete patient documentation in the electronic medical records system
  • Support the mission and vision of the RBAC
  • Attend in-service training sessions and department meetings

Qualifications

Education:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), or equivalent qualifications preferred.

Experience:
No experience is required. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Certification Requirements:
● Valid California State Physical Therapist License
● TB testing must be up to date and re-tested every three years
● CPR/AED certification
● Fully vaccinated, including booster, against COVID-19, subject to certain exemptions as required by Federal and California state laws.

Working Conditions and Physical Abilities

Work is generally performed in an outdoor work environment involving potentially inclement weather conditions.

The position requires regular contact with the public. Must be able to work under pressure, exercise sound judgment,
and adhere to physical therapy documentation regulations and internal report deadlines.

Schedule, Benefits and Compensation

FLSA Status:
This classification is non-exempt from FLSA requirements

Work Schedule:
Up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (may have some weekends)

Pay Range/Benefits:

  • $38.00 to $45.00 per hour Medical, Dental, Vision
