The Rays Swim Team

The Rays Swim Team Programs

The Rays Swim Team provides swimmers with special needs the opportunity to learn a sport and be a part of a team.

Participating in sports is especially important for the adaptive community. The skills, self-confidence, and empowerment gained while participating in sports transfer into their daily lives and help them to become healthier, happier, and more productive students and individuals.

By fostering a genuine TEAM environment, each student-athlete is able to realize their full potential both in & out of the pool in a safe and supportive environment.

The Rays Swim Team groups are structured to ensure that each swimmer has the ability to swim with their peers, both in terms of age groups and by ability. The coaching staff works very hard to ensure that each swimmer is in the best group for that individual and their success in the water.

The Rays Swim Team competes in several meets throughout the year. The team participates in intra-squad meets as well as meets against other local teams.
