Camp Splash!

Camp Splash! Is designed to meet the growing needs of our special needs community – Camp Splash! Due to COVID-19, Camp Splash! will be closed for Summer 2020.

We hope that you and your family stay healthy and know that we look forward to seeing you and your campers in the summer of 2021.

Overview

Camp Splash! is a summer camp for children ages 5-17 with special needs. This camp is designed to meet the growing needs of our special needs community. Every day campers meet at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center for a variety of educational and fun activities including swim lessons, therapeutic dance classes, treasure hunts, nature walks through Brookside Park, and arts & crafts. Every week, we will walk to Kidspace Children’s Museum to participate in activities that develop imagination and sensory perception. Once a week we will go on a field trip to a local attraction. Children thrive from the individual attention that the 1:3 ratio of counselors to campers and the variety of activities provide. Due to COVID-19, Camp Splash! will be closed for Summer 2020. Given the challenges of social distancing, lack of field trip opportunities, mask-wearing requirements and other government requirements, we would fail to meet the reasonable expectations that you have of our program as well as the ability to offer a quality camp that your children deserve.

We hope that you and your family stay healthy and know that we look forward to seeing you and your campers in the summer of 2021.

Note: If you are new to the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center programs and not a member of the Rays Special Needs Swim Team, please contact Ellen Sheehan prior to registering. Call 626.564.0330x419 or email esheehan@rosebowlaquatics.org.
