Jamie earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2016. Jamie's path to PT followed an early career as an event producer for health-related causes, including the Avon 3-Day Walk To End Breast Cancer. When subsequent jobs involved too much time behind a desk, Jamie decided to combine her passion for human movement and helping people by going to Physical Therapy. To make sure she was making the right decision, she became a student volunteer at RBAC Therapy Pool and loved it! Jamie has completed clinical rotations in the Glendale Adventist Medical Center Neurotelemetry Unit and Pediatric Department. She has honed her skills over the past 4 years treating patients of all ages with orthopedic conditions both in and out of the water. She holds the Certificate in Aquatic Physical Therapy Clinical Competency issued by the American Physical Therapy Association. Jamie believes that PT is integral to both healing AND preventing injuries for people of all ages and abilities. She enjoys swimming, cycling, birding, travel, and learning new languages.
