Bio

Cristina Alvarado, BA, graduated from CSULA with her BA in Psychology with an emphasis in behavior analysis. She combined her education background with her passion for aquatics to assist in developing the RBAC Swim Lesson Program and the Water Safety/Learn-to-Swim Program from 2008-2016. In 2014, she became the Director of the Swim Lesson Program, overseeing a program that has grown to teach 8,000 children and adults annually. Her plan is to continue to update the program by focusing on the stages of development and what motivates children to learn. She directs the Swim Lesson Department that includes a customer service staff of 10, a private lesson staff of 10 and a swim lesson and Water Safety/Learn-to-Swim Program staff of 60.
