RBAC at Home

RBAC at Home is a collection of online content that is available either live or prerecorded. Some classes are available via a link at your convenience and others are live via Zoom. Classes and content offered are yoga, Zumba, weight training, nutrition, calisthenics, online physical therapy, coaching and inspiration, with more in the works.

You can either click on the video you’d like to watch or connect to the class you’d like to take via Zoom. We are looking for opportunities to connect with our community and we hope RBAC at Home helps accomplish this goal.

One on one TeleMed with an RBAC Physical Therapist. Sessions are available through our Therapy Department.

Cost of Telemed/APT Private: $55/half hour or $110/hour

Cost of Telemed/APT Evaluation: $200

Rehab Classes (i.e. Hip & Knee/Spine Hab/Cervical Spine): $235 for 8 classes

Mindful Monday: An Invitation into Awareness with JC

Join JC every Monday to explore the practice of mindfulness and how to implement it into our daily lives. Take an hour to relax and lean into the present as we explore awareness and how it shapes our understanding of our own subjective realities, cultivating a more skillful relationship between our minds and the world. There are no requirements for this class other than a comfortable yet supportive seat that allows you to remain upright. Please note that this class may include periods of active meditation (such as walking, eating, or speaking) in addition to seated practice.

Feeling Friday: Working with Sensation, Feeling, and Emotion with JC

At the end of each week, give yourself permission to feel, and feel felt. In this class, we allow ourselves a chance to work with feelings and somatic expressions. The class will include guided seated meditation as well as an optional period at the end of the class for sharing and mindful listening. Please don’t feel obligated to share or stay at the end. But if you do, we ask that, to respect the privacy of others, you keep anything shared by other participants confidential.
*As a disclaimer, the intention of this class is to provide a virtual space in which to mindfully work with feelings, ranging from subtle to gross. While mindfulness meditation can be a powerful tool in dealing with emotion, it cannot replace professional psychological or emotional support. Please be aware that meditation can sometimes bring up deep feelings that may not be adequately addressed in this class. If you are suffering from severe depression, anxiety, or other mental health illnesses, please seek professional help.

All you need is a chair. During this class the chair is used for support mostly for seated stretches, but also for a few standing balance poses. This is a practical alternative from the support of the water to the aid of a chair.

FAQs

Policies

  • All patrons entering the pool must be wearing proper swimming attire
  • We have lessons rain or shine
  • No credits are given for missed classes
  • We must receive a doctor’s note if you would like a credit on your account
  • Make up lessons can be arranged, but you have to call the office to find out how
  • Zero tolerance policy for students hitting instructors or using profanity
  • All patrons regardless of age must use the restroom prior to getting in the water
  • All infants/toddlers must wear a swim diaper until they are 3 years of age and potty trained

What to bring to swim class:

  • Proper swim attire
  • Goggles
  • Towel
  • Sandals
  • Hat (Parent Infant class)
  • Apply sunscreen 30 minutes prior to your class (sunscreen applied less than 30 minutes prior to class just comes off in the water)
  • Lock to use the lockers in the locker room

How many times a week should my child swim?

Children should swim two or more times a week. Consistency is key! The more opportunities your child has to practice, the faster they will learn.
