The Rose Bowl Aquatics Center Dry-Land Fitness offers a broad range of programs to specifically address your goals.
Studies have proven that when yoga is practiced on a regular basis the participant becomes more flexible, stronger, handles stress better and sleeps deeper. Yoga classes are located in the newly renovated Arroyo Room, which overlooks the pool area.
Yoga Etiquette
1. Pay/Sign in at the front desk.
2. Make sure all technological devices are turned off or on silent.
3. Wear minimal to no scents, cologne or perfume.
4. We provide blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters. We do have mats but recommend you invest in a mat of your own primarily for personal hygiene reasons.
5. Inform your instructor of injuries or conditions that may affect your practice and is not obvious to the instructor, such as recent illness or injuries, or pregnancy, etc…
Learn how to create the mind/body connection one breath at a time. Moving at a moderate pace, practicing standing poses helps to build strength and balance. Stretching with the use of props creates flexibility. This class is designed for all levels.
