Learn to dive at one of the nation’s finest diving facilities with qualified and caring coaches, in a fun, safe and positive environment! Introductory, intermediate and advanced lessons, as well as competitive Novice and Junior Olympic Teams, are offered throughout the calendar year to assure consistent and efficient improvement. For over 25 years, the Rose Bowl Dive Team has been ranked one of the top teams in the nation. Almost all high school graduates continue diving in college and many have received scholarship offers. Diving is a great way to teach all the important life skills such as goal setting and working hard to achieve them, facing your fears and overcoming challenges.
This group is designed for the absolute beginning diver that has no experience. Students learn how to be comfortable jumping in the deep end and how to jump correctly off the diving board.
This group is designed to help the beginner diver that can jump off both 1 meter and 3 meters. Divers learn how to dive head first off both board levels as well as learning more advanced jumps.
This group is designed to assist the beginner diver that is able to dive head first off both the 1 meter and 3 meter boards. Divers must be able to perform more advanced jumps and dives including the Hurdle and back dives.
This group is designed to teach the more experienced diver more advanced jumps including front and back dives, tucks, front somersaults, and back entries on the 3 meter. This is the last level before the Novice Team.

No, we start from the very first time ever going off a diving board and move forward.
A swim suit (one piece for girls), t-shirt & shorts for dry land work, towel, warm clothes for before and after workout, and flip flops/deck shoes. Please no goggles.
Private lessons are 30 minutes
Group lessons are 60 minutes
We have 4 levels of lessons and then they transition to the Dive Team, based on coaches determination if they are ready. There are High School and college opportunities as well.
Usually we have 1 or 2 competitions to see how the divers are progressing and the divers get a chance to see what the sport is like.
There is no minimum age, but at least 5 years old is preferred. Lessons are offered to individuals who are interested in trying the sport of springboard and platform diving. Divers need to be able to swim and be comfortable in the deep end of the pool. Instruction will be focused on introducing the sport of diving by teaching progressively correct techniques and enhancing an enjoyment and interest in the sport. Divers will be placed in levels based on ability and age and will be move up the level ladder as their skills improve. Divers who improve athletically and develop a strong interest in competing in the sport may be invited to move to the competitive program upon coach’s recommendation.
