Your child's age group is determined in one of two ways:
- For United States Water Polo National Championships (i.e. Junior Olympics)the cutoff date is August 1st. This means a player born in November of 1993 is considered 18 for USA Water Pool competitions in 2011. A player born in March of 1993 is considered 19 and too old to play.
