Rose Bowl Aquatics Center Job Opportunities:
Public Relations Coordinator: This position promotes all activities and programs at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center as well as branding to build RBAC patronage and ensure a consistent, well-received message/image in our community. This is a full-time position requiring a BA or BS in public relations and/or marketing and/or equivalent experience as well as familiarity with technology and social media. Special Needs Swim Coach: Responsible for assisting head coach in planning, coordinating and coaching children and adults with special needs. For job duties/standard expectations, click here.
Aquatic Exercise Instructor: He/she must be able to teach multiple fitness levels in shallow and deep water. Positions available immediately.
Qualifications: Must have 1-2 years experience. Must be Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA) certified. Must be CPR certified. Arthritis Foundation certification preferred.
CAFE Cook: Responsible for the preparation and cooking of fresh foods.
Qualifications: Must have previous Restaurant experience Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift 40 pounds Familiar with outdoor grilling Neat/clean appearance
Swim Lessons Instructor: A Swim Lessons Instructor with teach swim lessons to individuals of all ages. Class size may vary. Lessons are taught in our recreational pool year round. Flexible hours ideal for high school and college students.
Qualifications: Must be minimum 16 years of age CPR for the professional rescuer and Standard First Aid certifications required American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification is encouraged but not required

Lifeguard: The position includes ensuring patron safety including supervision of Lap Swim, Swim, Dive, and Water Polo teams, and Recreation Swim. The position also includes some maintenance tasks, as well as customer service. Flexible hours ideal for high school and college students.
Qualifications: Must be minimum 16 years of age. Must be an American Red Cross certified Lifeguard with CPR for the professional rescuer and First Aid/PDT Previous guarding experience encouraged but not required
Swim Team: Age group coaching position - Days may vary; hours 3:30-7:00pm Masters coaching position - Days and hours may vary; Masters workouts are 5:30-7am, 12:30-1:30pm and 6:30-7:30pm, Monday-Friday
Qualifications: A passion and enthusiasm for the sport of swimming Red Cross First Aid, CPR and Coaches Safety certifications required Prior coaching/swim instruction experience required
