7th Place TEAM Finish at Spring Jr Olympics

Combining this past weekend's 9th place "Older's" finish with the previous weekend's 5th place finish for the "Younger's",

the Rose Bowl TEAM landed in 7th for the 2009 competition.  Final Team Scores

Long Beach, Feb. 6-9 - Rose Bowl's 13 & older swimmers finished the "Older's" portion of the Spring Junior Olympics with a 9th place finish.   Older JO results

OLDER'S HIGHLIGHTS:

Emily Adamczyk - 2 TEAM Records in 100 Fly & 200 Breast for 15 & up girls

Scott Farley - New TEAM Record in 400 IM & Older's high point scorer!

Sarah Olson - qualified for her first Sectionals event in the 50 Free!

Swim of the Meet - Tiffany Warmuth, 13, dropped 38 seconds in the 1000, placing 12th & four seconds away from Sectionals!

Long Beach, 1/31-2/2 - The 12 & younger swimmers far surpassed their initial goal of a 10th place TEAM finish... as they ended the first half of the meet in 5th place, which is Rose Bowl's highest-ever finish for the younger portion of Spring JO's!  

The meet was incredible, with all of our swimmers coming together as a TEAM and racing to the level that they have worked so hard all season-long to achieve.  Congratulations to all JO TEAM members!   Younger JO results
