Private Lessons
Providing consistency, reliability and getting the results is the hallmark
of our private lesson program.
The RBAC believes that children and adults generally learn better in groups
. We recommend and encourage group lessons. However, we do offer 30-minute
private lessons by appointment only, to both children and adults whose needs are
better met by individual instruction.
Private lessons clients will be matched up with an instructor that best meets the
needs of each individual swimmer. Only our most experienced and accomplished
instructors teach private lessons.
Private instructors treat our private lesson participants as personal
clients, although they are working for and representing the RBAC.
Booking and scheduling private lessons is done directly between the
instructor and the client.

Standard Private Lessons
The RBAC offers 30 minute private swim lessons, by appointment only to both children and adults whose needs are better met by individual instruction. All of our private lesson instructors are experienced teachers with WSI certification.
Fee: $35.00 (per 30 minute lesson)
Semi-Private Lessons
Semi-private swim lessons are available to swimmers who are of similar age and swimming ability. There is a maximum of three
swimmers per Semi-Private Lesson.
Fee: $20.00 per swimmer (per 30 minute lesson)

Private Lesson Program
- All private lessons are 30-minutes in length.
- The first private lesson is scheduled through the lesson department with the
Swim Lessons Coordinator @ (626) 564-0330 ext.411
- Please pay for private lessons at the front desk. You will be given a laminated card for every private
lesson you purchase. This card must be given to the instructor before each lesson. These are the same as cash; the RBAC does not assume responsibility for lost
or stolen cards.
- Any private lesson card may not be redeemed or refunded for cash or any RBAC
credit.
- After setting up the first private lesson with an instructor, scheduling and re-scheduling of private lessons should be done directly with your instructor.
- Cancellation of private lessons must be made 24 hours in advance. To cancel a
private lesson please call your instructor directly or call the lesson
department @ (626) 564-0330 ext. 411
- Please check in at the front desk when arriving for a private lesson.
No children of opposite gender over 3 years old are allowed in the main locker rooms.
Please use the adjacent restrooms for dressing young children who require assistance, when a same
gender caregiver is not present.
